Two of our faculty members have appeared in October 2015 edition of "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities". The list, in which 5 of our faculty rank in the top 500 and 11 rank in the top 1000, includes our faculty members Asst. Prof. Kaan Kececi and Res. Asst. Dr. Ayse Demir Korkmaz.
"Webometrics Ranking of World Universities" is developed by Cybermetrics Lab, belonging to Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the National Research Council of Spain in specific periods of the year. The ranking is based on the declared (voluntarily) presence of academics in the Google Scholar Citations database and is built according to their h-index and citation numbers.
